Everyone has a good idea sometime in their lives. Sometimes we don’t follow through and someone else will see it through because of our self-doubt. 
Our idea came from a visual memory of a rockstar wanna-be nephew, Lincoln Lambert, who constantly played the air guitar around the house.  My dad, being of an older generation thought he looked rather "stupid" and in turn built a look-a-like guitar out of wood (long before guitar hero’s where even dreamed of).  The guitar shaped wood cutout was something he could hold
on to, problem solved. 

 

Many years later when my own son started playing real guitars, I noticed they were always lying around or getting knocked over.  They just seemed to always be in the way.  I decided to remedy the problem by hanging them on the wall. 
I had tried regular guitar hangers, but it just didn’t really do anything for the wall.  Then, the idea hit me to duplicate that idea my Dad had many years ago and attach the hangers on a guitar shaped body.

 

My son talked me into building these stylish guitar hangers for other people. 

The response has been very positive, we soon received our design patent in 2009, and Wall-Axe was created.​ We introduced Wall-Axe Custom Guitar Hangers to the public by taking our products to the internationally-known NAMM Show in Nashville, TN and toured a number of music festivals 
across the country.
